- LAZER- LIFT® surgery is an excellent procedure that can benefit those who
want to remove unsightly fat deposits from localized areas of the face.
- LAZER- LIFT® is used instead of a generic facelift. The old, generic, facelift involved lifting the face, neck, brow and eyes and created a "wind-tunnel" effect.
- LAZER- LIFT® description:
- Liposculpture of fatty neck tissue using Smartlipo™ laserlipolysis. By using Smartlipo™, Dr. Schafer is able to perform Liposculpture techniques on the entire face (regular liposuction is too dangerous in these areas).
- Plication (suturing) of the Platysma muscle (muscle in neck from chin to colar bone) tightens the muscle and beautifully contours the neck.
- Laser treatment of underlying Platysma muscle and skin tissue using the new Erchonia and Polaris lasers for optimal smoothing and tightening. Instead of being cut and pulled, the loose skin in the neck and jowls shrinks to hug the contours of the re-sculpted neck and jaw line.
- A small incision is hidden just under your chin leaving a virtually invisible scar.
- Through a minimal one-inch incision, Dr. Schafer can create the effect of a facelift with a procedure that is much less invasive.
- Excess skin may require an additional procedure which may include one of the following:
- Posterior Tuck - removes excess skin behind the ear to
tighten the neck area.
- Mini Tuck - removes excess skin in front of the ear to
tighten the cheek area.
