How It Works

The body-jet technique represents a true innovation and advance for San Diego liposuction patients. Traditional techniques are designed to destroy fat cells, but body-jet loosens the fat without requiring damage to the fat cell itself. Instead, the medical-grade water solution pushes apart sheets of fat cells at their weakest points, rather than manually breaking them apart and causing tissue trauma. This means that surrounding structures like blood vessels and connective tissues remain intact, making the procedure less invasive and more comfortable, while still delivering significant contouring results.

Unlike the tumescent technique that is very common in cosmetic surgery practices across the country, body-jet uses a minimal amount of infiltration fluid to loosen fat cells - only 25% of the volume typically used with standard liposuction.
